Alien Isolation, Easily one of the best movie tie in games of all time, Alien Isolation As you probably know, Is a horror game, based off of the Alien franchise! This Week I am reviewing Alien Isolation for Halloween Enjoy!
Alien Isolation, released in 2014 Is a horror game, where you have to escape the xenomorph from the Alien franchise, Alien Isolation is a great horror game, and the lighting, and environments can push you out of your comfort zone, and the AI of the xenomorph is also amazing, The way It stalks you and traps you, how it reacts to noise, and can connect to your mic, make it truly horrifying a menacing,
Although Alien Isolation is flawed, It's story is around 34 hours long, and it does not justify that length. There is a long section where the xenomorph goes away, and is replaced by several androids, Which is still stealth based as you do not have much ammo, But It is not as Petrifying as the Xenomorph sections. Which makes them less interesting, ALTHOUGH the lack of seeing the xenomorph for awhile makes their return much more impactful, So it is a double edged sword, but I do think it is more of a negative.
Although the good parts of Alien Isolation are truly fantastic, and make it at least worth playing, and all the side content like the survival mode get rid of all those flaws, and even the story mode is interesting and worth playing.
If you enjoy horror Alien Isolation is a must play!
